Tobe is a national expert on excessive fees & risks in retirement plan investments. He has advised on over 70 ERISA class action legal cases on behalf of investors who have lost money through risky and/or high-fee investments and will assist PSM to take a leadership role.
Tobe is a Global leader on Transparency in investments. awarded the US Transparency award by the London-based Transparency Task Force in 2019.
He has written 4 books and dozens of articles on transparency, excessive fees & political corruption in investments. His books “Kentucky Fried Pensions” and "Kentucky Fried Pensions: Worse than Detroit Edition" chronicle his findings as a Trustee Whistleblower mainly to the SEC, but also CFTC and IRS complaints as well. He also currently serves as Chief Investment Officer for a minority woman-owned pension consulting firm out of New Orleans the Hackett Robertson Tobe group
